hot water in boiler
I have a steam radiator oil system. The house hot water is inside the boiler. My old boiler had to be replaced when the house hot water receptacle inside cracked. I came home one day and boiling water and steam were shooting out of the radiators. It was horrible. It would be worse if I had been on a week's vacation. I am afraid this might at some point happen again with my new boiler. Is there a way to prevent this? Even replacing the house hot water receptacle after 10 years as insurance to not having that happen again?

Having your domestic water heating totally separate from the boiler would prevent this particular incident from ever happening again but it would still leave the possibility of some other thing failing.
