Hot Water Boiler System

We recently had a new Hot Water Boiler installed. We have been told our Zone Valves do not work and need to be replaced at an additional cost.
When installing the system the techs took out all the wiring and took 3 days to figure out how to replace it, could they have shorted out the valves when doing so?
We are trying to determine the possible cause and recourse as we move forward in our heating nightmare.
Thank you

They certain that power is getting to the zone valve*S* when there is a call for heat at each one? Seems odd that a pluralistic number of them have all failed. Have you tried to operate them on manual to see if you get circulation of hot water then? On some zone valves I have, there is a manual lever at the bottom.

Wink

They are probably White Rodgers valves and they have no idea how to wire them back up. A common mistake.

Why in the world would they put in a new boiler and leave the old zone valves?
