Boiler won't fire when the reset botton is pressed!!
I'm not sure what the problem is with my CROWN boiler but it won't fire up and need some advise...
The fuel pump is working fine and is pumping fuel when I press the little red botton (reset botton) on the Beckett AFG burner....I opened the fuel check valve on the side of the burner and fuel is pumping out when the reset botton is pressed....For some reason the red botton is popping up and the boiler stops...It has happened a few times during the last month but it always starts right up everytime with the first reset try..
This time it won't fire up! I have pushed the reset botton on the burner TWICE so far, the pump runs for a minute or so and resets again without firing the burner....I know it pumps fuel into the burner so I don't want to keep doing it (I'm aware of the dangerous situation).
Is there a way to check the ignitor on the burner or maybe clean it (assuming that's the cause of the problem)??
The Honeywell Triple Aquasta L8124A is set for HI at 200F and LOW at 180F with DIFF of 15F
Thanks for your time - Bill
