Hilimit button on Hydrotherm?

I've read that one should check if the hilimit button is "in" for a Hydrotherm natural gas furnace when trying to restart the burner (with pilot light on and thermostats turned down). However I have no idea where such a (red?) button is. The Model is R180, 2-zone hot water. The problem I'm having is the red cylinder I'm supposed to hold until it holds itself - it doesn't hold itself. The solenoid that should activate is named a Basoid, which gets warm but makes no sounds.

Thanks,
Lou

Hydrotherm

If you post some pics of the boiler & controls, we might be better able to help you. There are so many different kinds & locations of resets, without seeing it, it's anybody's guess. You can post pics on photobucket.com or similar site & provide a link here.
