Question Need a new Burner! Please Help!!

H.B. Smith-PAC FOURTEEN boiler
Oil Fired Hot Water
4 section 146,100 BTU/HR
The manual for H.B. Smith boiler is dated 1968

Carlin model# 150N-2R Burner

3 5/8 inch tube
.65-1.25 GPM

I want to replace burner.

Thinking of:
• Becket AFG B-2007
• Riello c7001001
• Carlin 96876-05B

Which is best?
What do I need in addition to burner to replace?

Thanks in advance

Any of those burners would probably work. The riello is more expensive and probably harder to install and setup for a novice. The air tube on the Beckett will be 4' diameter and that may not matter but if the opening for the burner tube is smaller, the Beckett may give you a problem. The Carlin will definitely fit and is a good choise too. I would recommend the 99CRD instead of the EZ-1 but you will have to make the decision.
