What might be a good boiler for one application might be terrible in another. What kind of fuel, load and special requirements do you have? What is commonly sold and serviced in your area?

Outdoor reset is a control strategy to better match the water temp of the house when it is milder out with milder water. This provides much better comfort and some fuel savings in most cases as well.

From Heatload .com I figured a heat loss of 37,100 (in the process of figuring heat loss from slant fin). The boiler will be feed from gas.I'm in the NYC area.I was looking at an BURNHAM ,series 2 .Not to sure of the exact size yet. Any ideas, any help welcome.

My true heatload is around there. Calculated heatload is around 50-55K. I just put in a modulating condensing boiler. I'm very pleased with how little NGas I consume.

The tough part is finding small enough condensing boilers if that's the way you want to go. Comfort, efficiency and low price... pick two! ;-)
