Need a review of my radiant system with pictures
getting ready to preman a board for my cottage up north. 80,000 BTU WM oil boiler( it is new and was free). with 2 zones of radiant in the floor and a hot water air handler upstairs. This is the board I think I need to build. One question besides ideas or changes. I have a 110 Filtrol tank new in box , can I use it on a sealed system and just plug the port? Yes , you have to imagine the pipes for now I did not want to cut then have you weigh in with better ideas.

45's where used for 90 just to show hookup, Picture 1 is the overall view, primary secondary loop

I'm not sure about the 110, but I think it can only connect to the filtrol fill valve.
If the 2 zones of radiant are both designe for the same water temps, you might want to look at the Taco Radiant Mixing Block. This would provide far better control for the radiant floors than a simple mixing valve, in fact it would be fully weather responsive. The AH will probably be a boiler weater temp, right?

Yes the air handler will run at boiler temp. My understanding of the TACO 5000 mixing valves pictured is that they would keep the temp within 10 degrees of setpoint. Plus they are already bought and paid for....
