Water, water everywhere

Thumbs down Water, water everywhere

Can anyone tell me why i have to run my tap for a very long time before i get any hot water. Its a Combi boiler and the presure and heat (when it comes) is fine!!

The distance from the boiler to the faucet is probably long. There's nothuing you can do about it outside of installing some extra stuff.

There's a circulator you can get at Lowes that will circulate the hot water so it'll be hot right away. But that's more energy costs and the cost to install it.

Was it always like this or is this recent? If it's recent you may need to have the flat plate heat exchanger on your combi cleaned.
