Buderus GB142 and AM10 Temp Sensor Connections Very Unclear

Have the Buderus GB142/24 with AM10 Temp Sensor.

Have 2 zone valves controlled by 2 thermostats operating at 24 volts . Do we have to provide a relay to operate the on - off terminals of the AM-10

It seems the AM-10 unit is not to supposed to see any voltage.

We can not find anything that is built into the GB142 to use this AM-10 with adding more items!

THanks

I just took a quick look at the AM10 supplement at Buderus.

It appears that if you are using a 4 wire zone valve with an isolated end switch, you won't need the extra relay, but if you are using the three wire type, then you need the relay to isolate the AM10 from the 24V transformer...

What ZVs are you using ?

Taco 571-2 Gold 3 wire. We figured for everything this boiler has it would have had a built in relay for the AM-10 that comes with the unit!
