Question Teledyne Laars Boiler transformer problem

I have a Teledyne Laars Minitherm that heats the floor (tubes). The transformer hummed for a while and quit last week and I replaced it with a new one. It worked fine for a couple days and then it began to hum and it quit too. Any ideas what's wrong. It controls the boiler (though I have a pilot light that keeps working) and the thermostats. I checked the fuse, it's fine.

Transformer

Are you using a transformer with the same or greater vA rating as the original? Any changes to the system since last year? Is the fuse on the "line" or "load" side of the transformer? Incoming voltage OK?

I think I found the problem

I believe it is the boiler pump relay. I will get back with a report.

That fixed it

It was the boiler transformer. 13 years old.
