Taco zone valve problem
Oil HW baseboard heat, 4 zones, 1 circulator. One of my Taco zone valve's power head keeps uncoupling itself from the valve. The 3rd time in a week where the heat won't come on and sure enough, the circ is running but the power head has twisted itself free of the valve body. I rotate it back on and it seems O.K. but then some cycles later it has come loose again. Has anyone seen this before? Is there any way to adjust the locking pins? Will a new power head fix this or will I need the whole valve assy?

Zone Valve
That's one I've never heard before. As a test to determine if the head or the body is the problem, you could swap two valve heads. I don't think the pins are adjustable. If the troublesome head pops off another body, just buy a new head. If the head comes off the same body, the problem is with the body.
