Noisy radiators - popping sound

I have a new condensign system with 3 zone circulators piped as per triangle tube diagram with all the flow checks and air separator,...

The problem that I am having is that when any one of the zone circulators is turned on the radiators start making popping sound. All zones have been blead number of times and no air is coming out. I do not hear any air coming out of air separator either.

Thanks for the help!

A bunch of Qs

Piped as per which diagram? They have many published designs actually.

Can you be more descriptive about the popping sounds? Exactly when they start, duration?

Were the pumps properly sized for the zones?

Was this a self-install? If not, have you contacted the installer about this issue?

Some Answers

Hi Who,

install was done based on this : http://www.triangletube.com/PDF/Pres...t_Pages/P3.pdf

diagram and the system includes DHW.

Popping sound happens only when the circulators turn on and it seems to last until the pipes reach the water temperature, and then it significantly reduces. It is like trickleing sound with louder pops every now and then.

Pumps used for the system are Grundfos UPS 15-42F.

This was a self install and everything is working great except the noise.

Thanks for the help!
