Unhappy Base board lines banging

My bedroom baseboard copper lines bang when the thermostat is satisfied, causing Honeywell V8043 motorized valve to close. I think the valve is closing too quickly as the base board hot water is still flowing through the system. The bedroom is the furtest loop in the ranch house. Besides changing to a Taco valve which closes slower is there another option. By the way the sys. pressure is 15 psi.
thanks

Cool Base Board Heating

You stated that the sysytem is 15p.s.i. is that the reading or the Max. set pressure? Ours is 30 p.s.i, anyway our system was doing the same thing though there are other reasons why this is or could be but the most common one is there is "AIR" in that line trapped and needs to be bled out.

15 psi is fine.

See this thread for V8043 valves, banging and suggested solutions.

IIRC, banging valves do not always involve trapped air, but very often.
