Please make sure that the level of water in the boiler is correct.

When you say 'air valve' I am going to A$$UME you are referring to the automatic steam vents that screw onto the radiators.

These vents are supposed to 'close' when there is water present. ALSO, depending on which type you have, they may close on temperature also. Under no circumstance should water be coming out of them unless there is water in the pipes and/or radiator and not steam. ALSO, please check the package to make sure that they gave you the correct ones for STEAM.

Then if the steam vent still has water coming out of it check to see if it is the adjustable type. If it is adjustable close it up a little.

IF water is still coming out, is this the only one it is happening on???? It may be defective if this is the only one and the rest are working fine OR perhaps the radiator is not properly tilted and is building up water.

Let us know.

YOU'RE WELCOMED AT ANY TIME 24/7.

If this is the only one, either the vent is bad or the wrong one, or the radiator is water logged for some reason. Maybe incorrect pitch, internal 'crud' blocking the return, etc....

Good luck.
