Back boiler

I have a combi boiler on a pressurised system heating radiators. Can I add a wedback woodburner to it?

With proper piping and controls you can do pretty well anything with hydronic heating.

oil burner puff back

I experienced a small puff back. I was able to clean up all of the soot, but the awful smell throuhout the house is making me crazy. What can I use to deodorize the house and get rid of this smell. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. gr8smile

baseboard zone - heat won't stop

Hi, I recently had a third zone (basement) added to our hot water oil fired baseboard heat. So now we have a 2nd floor, 1st floor, and basement zone . The problem is when the basement zone is on, heat is still getting to the first floor zone, even though the valve/relay for that zone is closed. The feed pipe for the 1st floor zone gets very hot, heats up two rooms upstairs, but the return never seems to heat up. The plumber who installed the new zone checked it out and was mystified too. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot! Jon
