Hot water baseboard heat

I am beginning to remodel several rooms of my house and we heat with a single pipe baseboard hot water system. I have several questions. 1) I am beginning in a bathroom where I will need to relocate/replace the present strip. I'm not quite sure how much to bleed the boiler and then how to purge the air out of the system once I am done. 2) As I am going from room to room, can you mix monoflow units with one pipe units so as to better regulate the heat in each room? 3) Are replacements strips readily available and 4) If I just want new covers for the present fin units, are they readily available? By the way, I have done a fairly good amount of plumbing, so cutting and sweating copper is not a problem. Thanks.
