Air Vents On a 2 Pipe Steam Radiator System?

I have a 2 pipe system for steam heat using radiators. I have read on a 2 pipe system air vents on the radiators are not needed. Is this accurate information? I do not have any steam traps on the return part of the radiatpors.

He probably meant radiator vents are not needed. You always need vents. On a two pipe system the vents are after the last radiator supply on at the end of mains or dry returns. If there is a condensate tank the tank is vented.
