?? on Taco Mixing Valve

?? on Taco Mixing Valve

Do the Taco Mixing valves have to be installed straight up and down, or can they be installed on there side or upsidedown. i know the pumps have to be a certian way depending on PSI. Just didn't know if the valves applied too. Instructions didn't say.

I don't think it matters. Earlier this week saw one with the green cap point toward the floor. Been there doing its thing for 3-4 years.

EDIT: Wait a sec. Are you talking a simple 3-way mixing/anti-scald valve like the 5000 series, or the full-on Radiant Mixing Block? If the latter, I haven't a clue.

Yep, 5000 mixing valve. I also want the green cap to point down. it's gonna be up by head level, and too hard to see the top to adjust. Thanx Xiphias.
