Boiler Storage Tank Opinions

hey guys,

grabbed a almost new RUUD 50 Gallon Electric hot water tank from work, plan on using it for storage off the boiler, as suggested. What do you guys think?

Don't forget to grab another ET-30 to cover the expansion of those 50 gallons.

Any ideas on how you wish to pipe it in?

well, I have a monoflo system now, and its a single zone. In the spring/summer I want to break it up into at least 3 zones.

So advice on keeping monoflo, and /or going with a primarly secondary piping, and also how to pipe that storage take would be appreciated

Well, right now its a big house and just 2 of us, so i really don't need the whole thing heated at the same temp. Plus i'd like to split the basement out. At the end of the day, I'm hoping to gain more comfort and additional savings
