Honeywell l8151 aquastat install
We had a hvac guy come out and he told us that our aquastat has gone bad on our boiler and he wants $600.00 to install a new one. I looked online for a replacement aquastat and found them foe around $180.00. Does $600 sound like a ripoff?

No, not really a 'ripoff' ...
Thing ppl have to understand is that the 'cost of doing business' is high, and going up every day.
When you factor in the cost of fuel to run the trucks, liability insurance, payroll, benefits, overhead, tools, maintenance, etc, etc, etc, you would quickly come to the conclusion that might actually be what it COSTS that business to come out and do that job for you... oh, don't forget a modest profit margin, they are in business to make money, don't deny them their livliehood ...
Oh, by the way, Olive's _MY_ goil !
