Propane Boiler - Self Install and Recommended Brand

I need to replace the oil fired boiler in my old house and plan on installing a replacement propane boiler myself. After installation I will have a the boiler adjusted by a HVAC company. I am not sure which brand to go with (Weil, etcc) and where to purchase a unit. Can anyone provide some advice?

Brand? Search around this forum, for starters. Look for modcon, mod-con or modulating-condensing boiler.

Where? Your local plumbing supply house.

Pull the proper permits, get inspections, etc.

Thanks for the advice

I found a local company that sells the type of boilers you suggested. They are quite pricey - In the 3-4k range. Compared to 85% eff boiler payback is around five years. I currently have an old oil boiler and hoping at least that propane will be cheaper to run since propane seems tied more to natural gas.
