I'm trying to find out how to clean the baseboards, and to cut down on the dust. I know to vac, them, but I'm looking for in between the do mer hickies

Most baseboard you can take off the front cover, but you've probably already discovered that ? Sure makes it easier to vac with the cover off... use the brush attachment and the crevice tool.
Are your baseboards cast iron type or copper tubes with aluminum fins ?
I've never seen a do mer hickie made specifically for baseboards, but I've had pretty good luck with a cheap wide paint brush... wiggle it down between the fins while pulling with the vac. I bet something like a wallpaper brush might work if the bristles aren't too big.
The best thing is an air compressor with an air nozzle, but it does shoot dust all over the place. Run the vac at the same time and try to catch the dust before it gets away.
