I have a arcoleader boiler and when i turn it on it fires up the temp goes to around 180 pressure goes to 17. But then shuts down like its supposed to. but when i turn thermostat up boiler won't kick on I think it is the relay or somthing pleas help me don't have the money to call repair man.

For most older systems, the wall thermostat controls the circulator pump, not the burner.
If you have a voltmeter, trace the circuit and find out why you're not getting power to the pump. You're right - it could be the relay, but maybe something else.

It could be a bad thermostat, or t'stat wire, or relay.
Try disconnecting the thermostat and jumping the wires together and see if the heat starts up. If yes, it is most likely a bad thermostat.
By the way, are you getting heat but not hearing the boiler running? Sometimes once the boiler gets to temp, the boiler will shut down, but the circulator may still be running. Also, if it is the first start of the year, you may need to purge some air out of the loops from sitting all summer.
