Hytech ht-14e Boiler
Anyone hear ever deal with these older Hytech units - had the expansion tank replaced last week and after I turned the system off since we had a couple warm days it would not start back up. Full pilot light would spark for about 2-3 secs but would not FLAME ON
- also noticed leak on bottom of unit - I am guessing my installer put in an expansion tank with a higher PSI than the HYtech is used to. If anyone can shed some light I would appreciate your insight. Link to image of drip

I am glad to see someone post about these units. They are hard to find info on. I have a copy of an owners manual for these units, but it really does not help out the "do it yourself" type. You may want to look up Gourley Plumbing and Heating , they are suppose to know more about them and have parts. I do know Hytech went out of business. Good luck

I have a Hytech boiler. The pilot lights but the burners do not fire up. I had a HVAC technician come in but he is stumped since I have no manuals. He went off to do research. He cannot locate a pressure switch that might be the source of the problem. Does anyone have any manuals?
