Smile Stuck/jammed Radiator valve

Hey All -

I am having a problem with my radiator and am hoping someone on here can help me with it. The control valve (not sure if thats the technical term) for my radiator is stuck, I can neither increase or decrease the pressure on one of my radiators. Is there a way that I can deal with this issue without bringing in a professional? The radiator is very loud and 'goes off' during the night and keeps me up. My other radiator works fine, I can simply screw or unscrew the nozzle to turn on or turn off the pressure. Anu suggestions would be welcome.

thanks,
Dave

Can you give me more information about the type of radiators you have or the type of radiator valves. Could you possibly get us a picture of the valve?
