Red button on beckett oil burner ( not the reset button)

What is that red button on the round part of the burner, it is a square recessed red little button?

The 'round part' of the burner... is this part about 7-8" in diameter and on the right side (facing the boiler), and below the other control with the larger reset button?

If so, that's the blower motor, and also drives the fuel pump, which is opposite it on the left side of the burner...

This being the case, that small button is a reset for the MOTOR.

If that trips once, and pushing it in seems to have 'fixed' the problem, it could be a 'nuisance' trip, which happens from time to time... but if it happens regularly, there's another problem, either with the motor itself, or possibly the fuel pump...

If not, it's not really a big deal to change out the motor... and if you DO have to replace the motor, the newer "PSC" motors draw less electricity... I'm betting that it won't trip again...
