Munchkin boiler service needs

I have a Munchkin boiler that is generating a fault code "F09" which my manual describes as an ignition failure. The boiler has not been serviced in at least 2 years. Can you tell me what service steps are generally needed, and are they things that a reasonably competent user should be able to do?

Thanks

First off they require annual maintenance. The efficiency drops each year it is not serviced. It is not something you should try yourself as it requires a manometer to check gas pressure when done and a combustion analyzer to set up the combustion. May also require some gaskets to reassemble. See your manual for service suggestions.

rbeck, did you mean to type "...something you should NOT try yourself, as it requires a manometer..." ?
