Question on Taco 007 mounting ....

I just got done plumbing up my new boiler and didnít realize, but the taco 007 states in its literature that it should be plumbed horizontal, and can be vertical only of a min of 20psi is available in the system. I have a peerless wbv-03 that should be firing right around 76k Btu. The original wbv package specified mounting the taco vertically on the return; I have it vertically on the supply. Just paranoid checking here Ö let me know if that sounds OK. If I need to change the plumbing I can do it, but it will be a pain.

Thanks,

Not sure yer understandin' the literature... ?

The MOTOR shaft is best mounted horizontally.

You can mount the pump so that the inlet and outlet are vertically oriented, and the MOTOR shaft still horizontal.

You really don't want the motor stickin' it's butt up in the air though.

Thanks, perhaps I didn't understand.

The inlet/outlet are mounted vertical, so that would make the motor shaft horizontal. So then I should be OK.

Thanks for the info!
