heat starts,works awhile, then stops

3 valve system

The valve calls, boilier starts, water flows.

Before reaching the temperature set the heat is turning off

I then shut off the electricity, turn the thermostats off. restart and everything is fine again.

electrical housing

I literally touched the cover of the honeywell electrical housing (model l8148g 10301 2a therm) and everything has worked fine for 2 days.

If problems continue would replacing the electrical housing fix the problem

I was going to suggest that perhaps one of your safety controls was cutting off the burner... most gas boilers have one, two, three of them... depending on the age of yours, you may not have these safeties... but,

It seems that you have accidentally narrowed down the problem area. There are solder connections inside the control boxes, and it sounds as though one or more of the solder connections has given up...

If you are handy with a soldering iron, you might be able to repair... if not, then most likely a new control will do the trick for ya.

Your model is obsolete, this is the FUNCTIONAL replacement for it.
