Weil-McClain Boiler Keeps Needing Reset

We have a WC gas fired boiler. Model 988 and run 6lbs of steam for a 3 floor building.
When it gets really cold outside, like 20 degrees or lower, I walk in the morning to find the air intake fan running but the boiler cold and have to open the panel and press the red reset button and then it's fine for the day and then the same thing in the morning again. Had a tech here twice. First he did something to the flame adjustment (still had the problem) and the next time replaced the transformer. Still have the problem...Any ideas?
Thanks.
Joe

SIX pounds of steam?

That's an AWFUL lot of pressure...

Why six pounds?

I'm not a steam head, so cant really help with your problem, but I do know that six pounds is too much...

Depending on the system piping 6 psi may be the correct pressure. You have to know if the radiators have steam traps on the outlet piping.

We need quite a few more details.
