Are you looking for the bearing assembly, bearing bracket, the volute, or some other part? I assume the bearing assy, since the volute has no moving parts.
The 189101 bearing assembly is obsolete, but replaced with 189163. See p. 13 here: http://www.bellgossett.com/literature/files/1129.pdf And the repair parts are interchangeable.
What is wrong with your bearing assy? Replacement parts should be available - so you can repair yours without buying a whole new assy. Best to call B&G.

Pump housing
Hi
I need the housing that 189101(189163) bolts to. The pipe part.
shown as the pump housing on some pages. And the volute on other places.
There is no part number, other than P1-81. Nothing found with this number.
This is a RED cast part. 2" in & out. there is a crack in mine at the stud. Where the bearing assembly(189101) bolts to.
HV?? series? Tad date of: M58. Also not on B&G's web sight, dates.

OK, it's the volute. I've got a hunch that replacement volutes are not available. Check with B&G.
Maybe the crack could be brazed? Or could JB Weld get you by until spring? Or, just go ahead and replace the pump with a wet-rotor pump, such as a Taco, with the same dimensions and a head-flow curve that somewhat matches you existing pump.
If you decide to replace it with a wet-rotor pump, best to install shut-off valves on the discharge and suction sides. Unlike B&G 3-piece pumps, the wet rotor pumps require draining the system to do any maintenance.

Housing
Hi
I am in southern Niagara County, Western NY. So not close to NJ.
I tried to use Silicone gasket sealer. But still leaks slightly.
Yes, Massive water when You remove this housing. I had steel weld, similar to JB weld. But to long of a cure time. The crack is also at the inner impeller seal. Didn't have time to wait & grind smooth to fit the seal. even if I could, grind smooth that is. lol
I am looking into brazing. But must take back apart. Whit snow in the forecast, I had to reassemble the pump assy.
Oh yeah, my feet still feel wet! lol

bummer... there just happens to be one of those old 4 bolt flange jobs in my garage free for the asking but way too heavy to ship... and as Xiphias knows, if you wait for me it will be summer 2012 before I get around to it! (sorry Xiph!)
But I'll look and see if there's a model plate on it... how wierd if it's the exact same, eH? Oh, did I mention that it's already been rebuilt?

Is the aquastat the only part that regulates the boiler temp?
I think that if you are working on a system that heats a store and 4 dwelling units that you should know this... you are making me nervous. Are you licensed for this type of work?

Store +
Hi
I own the store building. This is Do it yourself right? lol
I have been replacing parts on this boiler over the years. I just like to understand
what does what so I can react to the systems quickly. Mostly due to the 4 apartments.

Some jurisdictions FORBID non-licensed persons from doing HVAC work on multiple dwelling units, even if they do own the property. In fact, some forbid it on their SINGLE family homes... after all, don't forget that God forbid if something bad does happen, whoever touched that system last is the one who has the liability.
