Each one of my zones has its own shut off valve. Is it ok to close some of the valves slightly as to throttle back some of the water flow to a particular zone or do they have to remain fully open? Or can I intall valves at particular room baseboards to throttle back the heat in that particular room.
I have gas and central air and for the last 8 years, since I bought the house,I've had no problems. I haven't spent a dime on maintenance.(Other than filters) My question is the National grid's Home Service protection plan for 24 bucks per month, a good value?
