Importance of the return pipe size on a reverse return hot water system...

I am doing the reverse return piping for an area with a heat loss of about 35k btu and I decided to use 1" pipe just in case the 3/4" isn't enough or just in case I want to add to it and I was thinking...how important is the return pipe sizing on a 2 pipe reverse return system?

If you are pumping 35K, I should think the 3/4 would be large enough, you can go up to about 4 GPM with 3/4 which is enough for 40K ... the considerations for the return pipe are the same as for the supply pipe.
