I installed a taco sr501-2 relay yesterday. It was all working fine, I then installed a second one as I have 5 zones to heat. The original one now does not power on. Any ideas what it can be? Putting my hand close to the unit it feels warm. Is it possible to be the fuses? I can telll there is power going to the unit.
Thanks anyone,
Joe

It could be the fuses, but then the question would be: "why did the fuse(s) blow?"
Without a diagram of how you wired this, it's gonna be difficult to help much... can you post a diagram of what you did?

NJ trooper you were spot on with the fuse. It was the TT fuse that burnt out, I had a short in the line as I spliced it, but did not do a good job on it.
On another note, I have bought a Filtrete 3M-50, there is already 3 wire running from the thermostat location, but..... The thermostat goes into a honeywell AT72D 1048 1 Transformer. This then passes to two valves and then to a relay, seems a strange way to run it if you ask me. There is no room for the C wire as there are only 2 wires at this point. How can I run the C wire to the relay(Erie Boss). I have pictures of everything and could send you a separate email if that helps.
thanks for the response earlier, it was extremely helpful.
