temp/pressure gauge sizing (Kerr Comet 145)

Other then physically measuring the diameter of the stem (at home), any ideas how I could find out what diameter connection I need on a replacement temp/pressure gauge combo?

I'm guessing it's 1/4", but I can't find it listed anywhere in the PDF manuals I have found online.
It's a Kerr Comet 145 Oil Fired hot water boiler

Don't know what home store you have, but I got mine from big orange. Although they show this brand, I believe my store carried a watts model.

The tapping is standard I believe. 5/8" ? ( 1/4" )

If not just get a bushing to reduce.

Here is your manual I believe. Scroll down for tridicator part # 4TD-00-PG75-00

Funny how the US site has this gauge, but the canadian one doesn't.
