15 Yr old Lennox won't keep running

It started to a few days ago, didn't want to keep running after initial start up (flame on) now it does the initial vent blower, heat strip hot, gas fires for about 10 seconds and the quits. When it does it's own restart it keeps going for 5 seconds and the next time for 2 or 3 seconds until it times out. When it starts to run initialy the 2 green lights are flashing and continue to flash the whole time. After it times out I either have to reset the thermostat or pull the front panel where the auto disconect switch is attached to the panel. Any thoughts?

Not too familiar with the Lennox appliances... and they don't make their info available on the web... [I just went to their website and find that they may have changed their policy on that, there ARE some installation manuals available] so in case we can find something, what is the full model number of the boiler? (it IS a boiler right? not a hot air furnace?)

In general what you are describing sounds as if the control circuit is not sensing the flame properly.

Gas systems have 'flame rods' that sense the flame and send signal back to control that proves flame, else the control shuts down the gas.

Tell us more...

Please confirm that this is a hot-water boiler and not a forced air furnace.
