Weil-Mclain CGi controller issue

CGi-8, natural gas boiler with 1107-1 controller.

We've been experiencing an intermittent issue that is baffling us.

The controller during the ignition sequence will hang at the tstat/circ LED (see attachment), the LED will flash on-off-on-off,click-click-click-click, the fan will blow on-off-on-off too. The boiler will eventually turn on after some time has passed. Then the pipes from/to the boiler have cooled down a lot.

To fix, I turn-off the boiler power and crank-up the heathigh in one of the zones. Turn the power back on and it'll then perform anormal ignition sequence.

What's the issue? How do I fix it?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Do you have the boiler manual?

Is that the "United Technologies" controller?

That 'hang' is the first step of the sequence, is it not?

At that point the control is trying to start the blower and looking for the pressure switch to 'prove' that the blower is running before starting the boiler up.

I can't find the CGi 8 manual on the W-M website...

I would call Weil Mclain but sounds like a control issue.
