Question on draft specs.

Hi Folks,
Correct me if I'm wrong. My tech guy set my draft over fire on my WM wgo4 @ .02
Now if I read the manual correctly is this not supposed to be @ -.02. And does it make a big difference? One more thing is on the draft meter the -.02 should be to the left of 0 setting correct?? (negative numbers) Which is the proper setting for over fire?
Thanks in advance.
Rick

Guys will often leave off the negative sign... it's always been 'implied' that draft is negative pressure.

the draft meter the -.02 should be to the left of 0 setting correct??
On my MZF negative is to the right. Depends on the meter.

Which is the proper setting for over fire?
Depends on the boiler and manufacturer spec

b. -0.01 to -0.02 W.C. draft in combustion chamber.
I understand this to mean 'over fire'.

But they don't suggest the recommended breech draft... I guess they want over fire to be what it is and the breech draft to follow no matter what it is.

I suspect that your guy just left off the negative sign.
