Post new boiler wiring

My father just had a new hw gas fired boiler installed to replace the one flooded by Sandy. Now the burner and the circulator go on whenever the thermostat calls for heat and both go off when thermostat is satisfied. I believe it is wired wrong but we cannot get the plumber or electricain who wired it to come back.
Any suggestions.

Sounds like normal boiler operation to me..... Can you describe what the issue is a little clearer?

Post the make and model of the boiler.

That sounds like it was properly wired.
I just this fall wired my boiler to function like this. Previously, mine was set to maintain a certain water temp, regardless of heat calls from the t-stats. It was configured this way to accommodate the DHW feed which had been previously used way back when.
