20 degrees difference between floors

My first floor is 20 degrees colder than the 2nd floor ? How can I tell if my circulation pump is working?

Please elaborate on your system.
Type of boiler, size, type of rads etc.

You have to provide more info so we can help narrow things down by elimintating some of the other varaibles.

It might be as simple as an air trap somewhere, have you bleed all the rads ?
Low pressure can affect flow on higher floor levels, have you checked your pressure in the boiler ?

You should be able to hear the pump.. You can test for voltage with a multi meter...

Even though your gauge reads 14 psi, it may be broke. Does it move off of 14psi when the boiler gets hot?

Read the sticky at the top of this forum, How to verify a boiler pressure gauge".
