Angry Converting a Power Venter to a Chimney

Hi, we have a 7 year old home that has a power venter (the cheapest biggest money sucker there is) and we want to change it to a chimney. We got quotes and the chimney for someone else to put in is $4000. So we bought all the parts required for the chimney and we were in the process of putting in when we ran into a wiring problem. I need to know how to wire our boiler Beckett 041012-82242 for a chimney. We talked to the people that have been servicing our boiler and they told us that we would have to hire them to come out and wire it and it would cost 1200. We have a honeywell 74184U and an aquastat relay honeywell 8124A which we just replaced too. of Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

I'm sure we'll be able to help you with the wiring.

I can't find any listing or info on a Honeywell 74184U.

I think it's probably a R7184U.

What is the make/model of the boiler?

What is the make/model of the power venter you are removing?

What issues lead you to believe that the power venter is "the cheapest biggest money sucker there is" ?

They fail, and do so on the coldest day of the year.
They make a horrendous noise, which is only second to that of wounded seals..

Probably not helping the thread. I suspect you will need to undo the interlock that comes with power ventors to ensure that it is actually running before firing the burner.
