Buderus Water Heater Parts

I have a Buderus SU 160 water heater. I want to replace the magnesium anode, but I can't find any part numbers in my tank documentation, nor online. Also can't find any part dealers online. Can anyone provide helpful info?

I looked high and low for a part number for that anode... I could find them for other models, but not the one you listed... sorry... I know it's a long shot, but try calling Buderus and see what you can find out.

I thought everything was available on the internet! And all true, to boot!

But seriously, thanks very much for trying.

From what I read I believe its just a normal mg anode for your model.... 1" or 1 1/2". Can be replaced with any mg rod with same size threads.

External Thread 1 or 1 1/2 Anode Rods
Tank Models: S120/SU160-200
Assembly Sequence:
1. Remove tank cover.
2. Unscrew magnesium rod.
3. Place 4 or 5 wraps of high density teflon on the new anode.
4. Install new anode and test for water tightness.
5. Install tank cover.
Note: This magnesium anode rod cannot be tested with the anode
tester!

Ah, the joy of dealing with an overseas manufacturer marketing in the U.S.
