Steam boiler with hot water baseboard zone

My circulator pump is vibrating and making much more noise than in the past. How do I know if its working or needs replacing? I hear water going through baseboard. Not sure how much. Perhaps it lost its prime? How do I prime it? If anyone knows, please help. Thanks

Here is an article from B&G that shows how a hot water loop should be piped to a steam boiler and explains the hows and whys.

How to Run a Hot Water Zone Off a Steam Boiler : Xylem Applied Water Systems: Web-Site Help Desk

Is yours piped like this?

What is the make/full model number of the pump?
