Workers installing a new laundry room turned down my boiler - no hot water!

I live in a duplex, each with our own boiler in the basement. The landlord's guys were re-routing the H & C water pipes today to install a new laundry, which they finished. They must have forgotten to turn the temperature back up on my boiler, the temp is down to 76 and there's no hot water, the one for the other apartment looks fine. I always regulated the temperature when I had a hot water heater, but I don't know how to do it on a boiler. I'd LOVE to take a shower in the morning! Can anyone direct me how to turn it up? It's a 4 year old Weil McLain boiler. THANKS!

Howdy Red Bank!

Sounds like AJ Perri was on the job! ha! just kidding...

If you are a renter, you must not touch the boiler or hot water system. You touch it, you own it.

You need to call the landlord and have HIS PEOPLE restore the hot water.

Gonna be a cold shower on Hudson Avenue!

OK! Hands off! Yep, it's freezing cold water, plus I just realized that he hooked up the washers & dryers to my boiler (I pay to heat the water) and the basement electric is on my panel. I wish it was AJ Perri, I would assume they are licensed.
Thanks for your help, I see you dedicate a lot of time to helping people here.

I've been in similar situations... paying to heat part of the other half of a duplex (hot air vent from my furnace going upstairs), and providing hot water to the other tenants washing machine. I think they think homeowners will never notice...

Good Luck!
