Psi question
Had new boilermate indirect hot water tank installed today (under warrenty). Also installed new expansion tank. My gauge on furnace is now reading 20psi. prior to install, the reading was consistently 12-15 psi. Is this ok or do i need to call plumber back to correct something? Thanks.

Why is the temperature going up to 195 ? There's most likely no need for that and saving to be had if turned down.
That's FINE for that temperature.
"Not firing" is meaningless... it's the TEMPERATURE in the boiler that determines the pressure.
What is the pressure when the boiler is under 100F ?
What you SHOULD see is 12-15 PSI when the boiler is COLD... and perhaps as much as 8-10 PSI HIGHER when HOT.
Find the temperature control on the boiler and tell use what that is set to.
looks like 20 psi at 180* and 22 psi at 195*
seems to stay at 20psi even when furnace is not firing

You've got an L8124 aquastat? AND an indirect water heater? Why?
Something ain't jiving here.
Time for some history...
Tell us the make and model of the boiler.
Does your boiler have a tankless coil in it that was abandoned when you got the indirect? If so, the aquastat should have either been modified to a 'cold start', or replaced with a 'cold start' model.
There is NO REASON at all for the LOW to be set at 160! You are WASTING FUEL! Besides that, it's printed right on the front of the white block inside the aquastat that the LOW and HIGH should never be closer than 20° apart.
Turn the LOW down to 120 and the DIFF to 10 for starters and save yourself a good deal of fuel $
Leave the HIGH at 175 for now.
With the HIGH at 175 it doesn't explain why the boiler is going to 195 though... or your thermometer is wrong.
Why don't you take some pics in addition to answers for the above questions...
the boiler is set at 160* low and 175* high with 15* diff.
