Issue with heating system

Hi

I am staying at a room in a residence and the heating system keeps doing these squeaking noises .. I opened the heater and there is a blue box with a handle that keeps turning and producing the noise.. see the picture .. would appreciate you telling me how to fix it

That handle is a manual override for the motorized zone valve in the box. As a guest there is nothing you can do other than bring it to the attention of the owner or manager of the property. If you were to do anything you could be held liable for any damages, whether or not you caused them.

Can't be doing much anyway with the ball valve closed.
