Some of the radiators are hot others are cold after work done on the we il McLain. Why are only a few of the radiators heating and not others. Switch and gas control replaced but not expansion tank. Working at 3% when 15% is optimal. Why are just a couple radiators heating up when all were fine
before service?

Gotcha. I am assuming an outside source did the work on the system. Have you called them back to ensure you get complete circulation? What type work was done? Are all the units turned on? Do you hear water moving in them?

No water being heard. Can hear boiler turn on. Gas control and switch replaced. Outside service used but got mad when expansion tank not being replaced was bought up after being told that working at 3% capacity vs 15%. Temp setting high but no heat being returned on most radiators after service. I know for fact expansion tank required replacing. He wants new service fee to come back out too. No radiators were touched before during or after service. How can I make sure there is complete circulation?

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you mean by this?

I know for fact expansion tank required replacing.
How do you know this?

Why did you call them in the first place?
