Replacement Nozzle Questuin
I have a Peerless JOT boiler. In January I had it serviced. The tech replaced the nozzle using a .75 80 A. Today the boiler went down but the store said the nozzle I needed was on back order. I bought a .85 70 A they recommended.
The nozzle they replaced in January had the same carbon residue near the top like the one I changed today.
Just curious if the new nozzle will make a big difference in performance.

That carbon suggests that the burner is not set up correctly. Now your going from .75 to .85 your adding more fuel to the burn which will most likely make the issue worse.
Is this a Beckett burner?
