Unhappy Burnham P-205A-WNI not turning on

Hi All, our boiler stopped heating our house abruptly 2 days ago. We checked the breakers and replaced the batteries to the thermostat. I opened up the side panel and looked inside. There is an off/on selection round brown button, which I tried. Nothing. There is also a off/on light switch on the outside of the unit. When it's in the on position, the unit makes a very faint humming sound, but nothing else is running. Anyone have any ideas? See some pics I snapped below. Thanks!!

Hi Evita,

that faint humming sound is probably normal and coming from that thing on the left side of the second picture with the yellow and white wires on it. (it's a 24 VAC transformer, by the way)

I haven't looked at the manual for your boiler yet...

There is an off/on selection round brown button,
Can you show us a picture of that?

In fact, try to get a little more light in there and take some pictures of all the controls behind the front cover.

I figured out it is the Honeywell switching relay that needs to be replaced. Wish me luck!

Thank you all for your insightful advice.
