I presume this is a gas-fired hot-water boiler? If so, there is typically a 24-V control circuit that opens the gas valve when there is a heat call. Best to troubleshoot that circuit with a multimeter. If that is beyond your skill set, then call a service person.

First, you would have to purchase and learn how to use a multimeter properly and safely.

Then, you would need to understand what the various components are inside the boiler that we would ask you to measure the voltage on.

From what I can gather from the posts so far, you haven't the time to learn what you would need to learn in order to help us help you, therefore, call a heating technician.

Without knowing what's wrong, we can't guess at the price...

In your situation, either call a service person or plug in a portable electric heater in the baby's room. Tomorrow is May 1.
